The membership of the Congressional deficit reducin' "Supercommittee" is set. They don't have a lot of time to come up with huge cuts to federal spending. So here's a way to save billions, even trillions of dollars that's quick, easy, and politically popular: End the tragically ill-conceived, too-long, too-costly wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bin Laden's dead. We're broke. Declare victory and get the hell out. The sooner the better.
