What’s the craic, Barack?

My old Irish grandmother was comfortable with end-of-world prophecies, but never would she have believed, let alone foretold, that one day a black man, the President of the United States no less, would pay a state visit to Ireland and travel to his ancestral home in Moneygall, County Offaly. That would've been just too fantastical.

Moneygall, in Irish, means "foreigners' thicket" and it will be exactly that with the Secret Service thick as flies during the president's visit.
