Three Moorestown groups (MSOS, STEM, Concerned Moorestonians) want voters to decide if the township should use of Open Space funds for athletic fields. They presented the township clerk with a petition asking that the question of OS fund use be put on the November ballot. The clerk has 20 days to certify that the 1,493 petition signatories are registered Moorestown voters.
Sincere thanks to everyone who participated in the petition drive. Voters should decide this important and controversial issue.
